Agency : Department of Commerce / Census Bureau:

The Census Bureau has awarded an 8 1/2-year, $60 million-plus task order to Sabre Systems Inc. to provide IT services to modernize and expand the agency's geographical data processing system.

Under the task order, Sabre Systems will design, program, operate and maintain the Census Bureau's computer infrastructure that supports its Master Address File/Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing system. The Master Address File contains a list of about 115 million residences and 60 million businesses and other structures in the United States.

Business Integra has partnered with Sabre Systems to implement Oracle Enterprise solutions and Quality Assurance and testing for some of their modernization systems.

Agency : Postal Services:

The Challenge of Delivering the Right Postal Solutions

People still want mail. Even with the steep curve in technology options, we expect the post to arrive on time. We want postage costs to remain low. And we want the post office to do more.

Government postal services are shifting to meet these demands. They are cutting costs, expanding services such as E-Post and electronic bill pay, and streamlining processes – all with limited public funds.
Information technology helps with this change.

Business Integra has provided various IT resources including SOA architecture, Data Architecture, Systems Integrators and Mainframe Developers to the Postal Service.

Agency : DC Government

Agency: Department of Defense:

Project: Unified Management System (UFMS)

BI Consultants worked with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-37, Guidelines for the Security Certification and Accreditation of Federal Information Technology Systems, that provided guidelines to federal agencies conducting security Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of information systems.

Our consultants worked with DOJ IT Security Standards that are divided into the three security control categories used by NIST: management, operational, and technical controls. I have in-depth knowledge about Certification & Accreditation process that does the full assessment of an information system’s security controls (including management, operational, and technical security controls) to determine how well they are implemented.

BI consultants worked on the goal of certification testing is to determine whether the security controls that have been identified for the programs such as UFMS in the System Security Plan (SSP) are effective in supporting the minimal security requirements under NIST SP 800-53 Revision 1, Recommended Security Controls for Federal Information Systems.

Agency : Office of Personal Management (OPM)

Project: Enterprise Human Resource Integration (EHRI)
Business Integra consultants worked on the program such as OPM e-government Enterprise Human Resource Integration (EHRI) to propose develop and deploy Government IT Security requirements that are inline with their long term vision, mission and goals. One of the program goals was to comply with Federal IT Security Standards. The implementation of programs such as EHRI (e-Gov initiative) and DOJ UFMS is designed to meet the approved security architecture design requirements for the EHRI and DOJ UFMS programs respectively. The main objective of the published security architecture document is to provide security requirements that support the goals maintaining the system at an acceptable level of risk.
