The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) collects and provides essential scientific, technical, and related defense information to the Department of Defense (DoD) Research and Development (R&D) enterprise. The R&D enterprise includes researchers, engineers, scientists, acquisition professionals, and the war fighters supported. DTIC is focused on efficient and effective methods to simplify the submission/collection, management, federation, discovery, and use of technical and related information. Information spans research and investigation: requirements, budget justification, research in progress status reports, analysis and prototypes, completed research reports and published articles, and community of interest discussion and collaboration on research and engineering.

The Senior Software Engineer shall perform and apply innovative solutions to the areas contained in this PWS throughout the entire life-cycle (e.g., design, develop, enhance, test, debug, deploy). This person shall have experience at the senior level analyzing requirements and creating solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with all the Contractor and Government developers as well as the Government Project and Program managers developing and implementing technical strategies, developing and implementing developer and technical best practices and policies supporting DTIC products.
Cloud Engineer (CE) shall review of all CSP environments to verify security, availability, and scalability during migrations. The CE solves problems, works with customers, and has a technical background from a variety of different areas of expertise that may include Linux/Windows systems administration, database design and optimization, big data analysis, network administration, and dev ops.
The Project Manger shall exercise management and operational control for this contract and be responsible for contract performance in accordance with this PWS. The Project Manager must be certified through Project Management Institute (PMI), Defense Acquisition University (DAU), or Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI).
